We work mainly through referrals from our network of Designers, Engineers, and Architects. We are here to support all types of clients and budget level. Design
At Avalanche Construction & Woodworks, the majority of our design work is done with Interior Designers and Architects in the Sea to Sky. We work closely with our network of professional services to guide you through the design process, and even have an in-house design team to facilitate fast and effective plans, layout or renderings. We also work with local Engineering firms to confirm design feasibility and compliance to BC building code.
Project Management
Project Manager Matt Hyatt has been in the construction industry since 2007. His wealth of knowledge from all aspects of residential construction is an asset to quality construction management. ACW has PMP certified Project Management Professionals on our team to expertly oversee your project and can offer full service Project Management. We have successfully managed projects in some of Whistler’s most prestigious locations including Stonebridge and Sunridge. From building additions to smaller scale projects, we pride ourselves on our transparent business model and offer in depth job costing and progress reporting. We work closely with the RMOW Building and Planning Departments and can take care of Building and Development permits, to ensure there are no surprises along the way.
Construction
Led by Matt Hyatt, our years of experience and knowledge has allowed us to create and build custom projects with exceptional results. Our skills have grown from full home construction; Engineering to finishing. We specialise in high end residential and Finish Carpentry. Our outstanding team of Trades, Designers, Engineers, and Architects allows for a smooth process to achieve the desired results. Our team has successfully worked on some of Whistler’s most expensive homes and bring with them proven Red Seal Endorsements in Carpentry and Joinery. Our preferred network of trades allows us to have the upmost confidence in the overall project.
